My research interests

I like to put my hands on everything that sounds 'cool' in my head. Here are a few domains that I have worked in and continue to do so.

As part of my doctoral project, I work on modelling the Physico-BioGeoChemical(P-BGC) processes in the Marginal Ice Zone(MIZ) of the Antarctic Sea Ice.

We see multiphase materials in various forms in nature. I am developing one such model to describe the ice-water coupled multiphase system in the Antarctic Marginal Ice Zone (MIZ).

The Finite Element Method has been a core component of my engineering journey and has featured itself in various forms and shapes[functions :)], be it Taylor Hood elements for Porous media or simple linear beam elements.

I have dealt with solids in multiple conditions, some of which are hyperelasticity, plasticity, fluid structure interactions and thermo structural interactions. Apart from this I have also worked with composites and their failure mechanisms.

Cell movement through convection diffusion, re-entry of a space shuttle and development of a humpback whale inspired tubercled wing for race car are some of my experiences with CFD.

I have extensive experience in automotive component development and simulation, in both academic and industrial environments, starting from conceptual development to detailed product development.
